Description:

The 10-story building was built in 1921 by the four daughters of building contractor and real estate developer, Thomas Corrigan. Corrigan was pivotal in funding Kansas City’s early street railway lines. From 1927 to 1948, the Donnelly Garment Company took residence and established itself as the largest dress manufacturer in America. Nelly Don, the founder and operator became the first woman pioneer in the garment manufacturing business and a national celebrity of the early 20th Century.

*historical note* In Cities Skylines, it seemed silly not to make its namesake a reality. This will function as a Dual-Platform Metro Station. The real-life building, however, is not an actual "station." The name derived from a U.S. post office depot that occupied the first floor. 🙂

STATS:

MODEL – 1,153 traingles | 512×2048
LOD – 65 | 128×512
LOT SIZE – 4×5

FUNCTION:

This is a mixed-use building that can be found in the Metro transport tab. It functions as a dual platform Metro Station, level 2 office building, and mild historical landmark. Office workers and tourists (tourism value set to pretty low, so not many) will use the front right entrance, while Metro riders will use the front-left and side entrances (if placed on a corner).
