To counter the combustibility of wooden grain elevators, people decided to build re-enforced concrete ones that ended up being much larger than life. So much that they can give even the tiny towns in the middle of nowhere a skyline… So much that many people nickname them "Skyscrapers of the Praire"… Seriously, they’re wickedly cool buildings, and like all farming buildings, they’re cool to have next door to the house.
