Description:
Lets you disable problem notification flags from being set.

When the game detects a problem on a building, it sets a special flag called a Problem Notification.

This causes the little notification icons to flash at you and also it triggers some effects from other parts of the game. eg. abandonment.

This mod allows you to stop those flags from being set.

However, a possible side effect of not setting a problem flag can be that the game behaves as if there was no problem to begin with. This varies depending on the problem and you will just need to experiment.

As an example:

If you disable the electricity problem notification, you can remove all your power plants. People won’t leave residential areas, but the building wont light up at night. Houses don’t become abandoned from lack of power. They just live there with no power.

On the other hand, some buildings stop functioning completely if they dont have power. Commercial building wont function. They wont become abandoned but they wont sell anything either. They’ll just sit there waiting for the problem to be fixed without complaining or being difficult about it.

The point is: IT DOES NOT REMOVE THE ACTUAL PROBLEMS.

If you disable the Electricity Problem Notification, then cut the electricity, you will not see a notification, the building won’t complain, but also there still is no electricity…

If you remove the RoadNotConnected Problem Notification, you will not see a flashing icon, the building won’t get abandoned, but also there is still no road connection. People still can’t actually get there.

And so on…

So yeah, it’s hard to explain. Just play around with it, CAUTIOSLY.

I don’t recommend disabling all the notifications.

Use the options menu to disable notifications.

Optionally, select the first checkbox if you want existing problem flags to be removed too.

This mod uses the Skylines-Detour library by Cope, and the Framework developed for it by Bloodypenguin. Thanks guys.
