Description:

Very loosely based on the Ciechanow water tower[upload.wikimedia.org] in Poland. A friend commented that it’s sort of got a Fallout vibe, and I can dig that.

About
This was fun to make. I did see the post on Reddit a while back asking for something like this. I didn’t have time to do anything with it because I was busy with other things – but I do think hyperboloid structures are pretty nifty. It’s a means to get as much structural integrity out of as little material as possible. Of course, I didn’t do the math – I just twisted the top end of a cylinder 110 degrees in Blender and went from there. 😀

Textures came out nice, too.

Let me know if there’s any funny business with the water pipe node at the bottom. I didn’t seem to have a problem with it, but you never know. Or if anything else is messed up.

Source files are here[drive.google.com], if you want to have a look at them, reupload the thing – or do whatever.

Thanks again.
