Basically, what isn’t storing dry or liquid goods just goes to this category. Not that it devalues the buildings in anyway, even if they are low-tech.
The furnace is essentially a small coal-burning generator/shop that is able to melt down metals and the like for use in other products. It comes with a big smokestack, so you know it’s a stinky place. The foreman shack is really just a kind of office/break room, or in some cases a small terminal for trucks. It doesn’t come with a bathroom though.
These are probably better off as small fillers for larger buildings, but they can stand well on their own too.
