Airport PVNet Pack
A pack of pavement light props for airports. These assets are prop based with a self-illumination map. As a result, they do no illuminate the scene, but do provide a subtle effect that adds realism. See screenshots.
Additionally, the lights are scaled up by a factor of 2 to provide better visibility with the default camera.
The assets included have two sets of textures (one for the guard lights and one for the centerline lights). All sets contain 64×64 diffuse, specular, illum for both main and LOD.
The assets themselves have a low tri count (56 Tris and lower), with a lower tri LOD.
Note that the animated guard lights will not be animated when the LOD is displayed (though you probably will be unable to see the glow effect at that distance).
Prop Assets
- pvGuardp0 – Guard light with phase 0 degrees
- pvGuardp180 – Guard light with phase 180 degrees
- pvLightPGG – Taxiway centerline Green-Green
- pvLightPYY – Taxiway centerline Yellow-Yellow
- pvLightPYG – Taxiway centerline Yellow-Green
Network Assets
- pvGuardLightNet – Network of guard lights, containst alternating phase 0 and phase 180 lights. Used to guard the hold-short line (the marking which indicates a plane must stop before entering a runway), facing the taxiway (goes next to the solid line edge).
- pvCenterNetGG – Network of centerline lights, contains only Green-Green lights. Used along taxiway centerline.
- pvCenterNetAlt – Network of centerline lights, contains alternating GG and YY lights. Used on runway entrance / exit centerlines.
