Description:

Around the turn of the millenium, SL, the operator Stockholm’s commuter rail, found themselves having a hard (in fact, VERY hard) time acquiring a replacement for their aging rolling stock. What ensued was nothing short of a cinema-worthy political thrillride full of collusion, mutual mistrust and egotrips crossing each other without any signs nor traffic lights – which ended with several retired ET420 units being shipped from Germany to Sweden and modified locally to bridge the time until Stockholm could get hold of some proper, modern EMU’s.

This mod includes the X420 as a single trainset in the "pendelbla" livery.

Known issues

CSL only allows for three headlights maximum, whereas the X420 has four. It will look a little weird at night thus.
