Residential Grid: Loop Block with Pedestrian Path
Mixed Use Grid: Neighborhood grid with foot path to bus or subway station at the front.
Front 1/3rd of neighborhood would contain a school, and commercial plots. Additional footpaths to commercial/office section.
Back 2/3rd is ideal for low density residential and small parks that this neighborhood would use.
The pedestrian paths encourage local foot traffic over private cars. Inspired by the "Pedestrian Pocket Superblock" (see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/City_block)
Not sure if Move It! is required but I did use it to align the foot paths.
You should use a mod to change the right-most lane arrow on the neighborhood exit after the bus lane to prevent your busses from taking a detour down one of the commerical streets. I don’t know how to do that in the default asset creator. Let me know if you do.
