Description:

I sure can’t wrap my brain around what I am doing wrong.

I have watched several videos on how to manage traffic, tips for finding issues, tricks to keeping the city flowing like round-abouts, intersections that arnt too close together, buildings not against main highways. Slip roads to help get to and from the highway. Roads to cross the highway. (the one by chillway seems to just make everything worse)

I have tried normal intersections, round about, adding and removing paths across the highway.. Adding new roads, removing roads. Changing the flow of intersections, messed with one way streets.. upgraded and downgraded areas. Banning trucks on some roads..
Use to have a buss path, removed as it added more issues. Had walking paths but remade the area so many times I stopped re-adding them back in. Used traffic manager to try and take part control, to full on control everything and it just ends up clearing it up for a time, than after a bit it’s back to a mess.

Some examples of the nonsense I’ve seen:

apparently going around the round about is the faster path than doing a right turn.

So that’s a path after I cleared traffic after one fix.. traffic did in time start following the main path with nothing further changed.

Another example of odd back tracking when a clear roundabout path was there to take.
