Sydney RiverCat
The "RiverCat" is a class of catamaran operated by Sydney Ferries, running services up the Parramatta River. There are 7 RiverCats, each named after Australian women athletes. They replaced the First Fleet class ferries on the river services in the early 90s.
This is a recreation of the Rivercat, although the vessels differ slightly from each other. It’s a very lightweight model, did a lot of texture packing here. These are very low-to-the-water ships. I will try to work on custom wharves in the style of those along Parramatta River to accompany them. 🙂
If you like it but wish it was a little less.. "Sydney"ish, I’ve published a line-colour version separately without the ship name and references to Sydney, Sydney Ferries, etc.
