Description:

The Corner Tower is a part of the defence facilities of the Forbidden City and is famous for its unique shape and its beautiful style. There are four Towers in the Forbidden City and they were first built in 1420 during the Ming Dynasty and were rebuilt and renovated in Qing Dynasty. (from: LocalWiki [localwiki.org])
