Description:

Station wagons get their name from their original purpose: being used to taxi people and luggage from rail stations in the early days of automobiling. They were originally custom built using wood to extend the cargo and seating space. For years, station wagons would traditionally have some faux wood paneling to call back to this.

—Stuff You Don’t Have to Read—

I hadn’t planned on releasing anything new for Cities: Skylines for quite some time, but then I realized I had this really nice model of a Chevrolet Caprice Classic station wagon left over from a project in which I made neighborhood deco for The Sims 2. Not wanting it to stay unreleased, I created the necessary textures for it, and I also created a custom Level of Detail for it (which I plan on doing for all vehicles released from this point forward). However, along with it being really nice, this model is really poly-heavy (despite this, it does not include windshield wipers…).
