Prospect Park Water Tower
About the building:
The Prospect Park Water Tower (also known as the Witch’s Hat Tower) was built in the Minneapolis, Minnesota neighborhood of Prospect Park in 1913 to serve nearby residents as well as the local fire department. It is situated on one of the tallest hills in Minneapolis at a total of 970 feet above sea level.
It was decommissioned in 1952 and was added to the National Registry of Historic Places in 1997.
