Game Speed mod
This mod makes milestone progress and city growth slower, when everything unlocks more gradually, so that you can enjoy every stage of the city growth deeply. (This mod is senseless for people who plays with unlock all or unlimited money.)
- Everything is expensive so you have to wait more time to construct a new building or road.
- City growth is slower, and population required to unlock milestones is higher.
- Prerequisites for levelup park areas and industry areas are higher.
- Time flow (day/night cycle as well as year cycle) and citizen aging are slower.
Note, that the maintenance cost (and your income) is not changed. So the game has not become harder, only slower.

*To preserve the game balance shifted due to the longer citizen’s lifespan, death care services are nerfed (cemetry, crematorium, and hearse capacities are decreased).
- Do not scale milestone population threshold with water area ratio
Check this option if you don’t want the population, required to unlock milestones, being scaled with the water area ratio. This makes the game progress even slower.
- Hard Mode
– Maintenance cost +25% (the same as in the vanilla Hard Mode)
– Demand -20 (the same as in the vanilla Hard Mode)
– Higher levelup prerequisites (the same as in the vanilla Hard Mode)
– No milestone rewards
The vanilla Hard Mode is not compatible with this mod. If you want to play Hard Mode, turn this option on. (Do not use it together with the vanilla Hard Mode.)
Game speed and options are stored in your game save file, so you can use different settings for each game.
