Kiritimati – Curious
Welcome to Kiritimati. An island in the south pacific composed of a coral-raised atoll in Kiribati. The island group is also known as Line Islands.
Kiritimati, also known as Christmas Island, has the largest land area of any coral atoll in the world. There is about 388 square kilometres of land, as well as having it’s lagoon being roughly the same size. Kiritimati being the largest, it hold the title of being 70% of total land area in Kiribati.
I created this map so that I could simulate an aesthetically pleaseing creation, without worrying about normal city stuff like profit etc. If you plan to create something on this map, you must consider the following:
- No Road/Train Connections
- Only 1 flight path
- Boat/Aircraft dependent
As above, you’re going to depend on ships. There are a few routes that ships take which will dock either side of the atoll. These ship routes are your primary income, so keep an eye on them. The dependncy is there purely out of choice. if you’d wish to see what I saw while creating, then you may download it, otherwise you can use the default one.
