Evo’s Korean Sound Overhaul [v0.1d]
Don’t expect any new content soon. As I stated, this mod is mainly created for my Korea recreation project and the sound design is a rather minor part that will come once the foundation of the project is stable. Until then customizing assets, creating new ones and the likes will take priority.
Eventually this mod will get new content. I already have Airport announcements and ambient sound files ready to clean up and loop. However, If you can provide well-looped files in decent quality I’m always willing to take the few minutes to implement these.
This is (going to be) an Audio overhaul of various in-game Sounds, to create a coherent aural experience, true of the one experienced in South Korea. It is mainly created for my Korea recreation project.
(Which you are free to follow via Twitch.TV/EvoxityTV)
As of now it only features replacement for the Ambulance, Fire Response and Police vehicles, based on the few YouTube sources, that featured ‘decent’ audio quality. — Please, if you stumble across high quality versions of the KR response unit’s sirens, feel free to share them and I’ll implement them as soon as possible.
After downloading and enabling, you have to go into PloodyPenguin’s “Ambient Sound Tuner 2.0”’s settings and select “Evo’s Korean Sound Overhaul” as the Sound Pack preset.
If you can’t see said Sound Pack, you perhaps have to restart Cities:Skylines once, after activating the “Korean Audio Overhaul” Mod.
