Toronto Transit Commission Headquarters
The headquarters of the Toronto Transit Commission; located in Toronto Ontario Canada. The building, known as the "William McBrien Building" was constructed in 1958 to house the administration of the TTC and was designed by "Charles B. Dolphin". The TTC has been looking to move into a new headquarters sighting lack of space, and the general age and deterioration of the current building, and cost savings from centralizing departments into 1 facility. Attempts to find a new HQ however has met opposition from politicians sighting upfront costs of finding a new facility. While the main admin for the TTC is located in this building, various other departments are spread across 7 other rented buildings. The building is attached to Davisville Subway Station on Line 1 and has a bus terminal on the main floor.
