This house was built for a merchant Abraham Dudak in year 1912.
Designed by August Furuhjelm, overall style is art nouveau/jugendstil.
Tiles in the top part of the facade have colour variations on.
Lodzermensch – A tycoon, who lived in Łódź in the XIXth or early XXth century, rich factory owner/merchant, who possed skills of entrepreneurship, adaptiveness to new conditons etc.
A person having direct influence on Łódź’s urban development, sometimes capable of building an entire micro-city of factories, schools and houses for their employees within Łódź.
