Cafe Poet
Cafe Poet is the ideal location for slopes or coasts.
Tourists and citizens gather in the cafe and enjoy the great view of your city.
Cafe Poet is inspired by the canteen of the House of Writers in Sevan, Armenia.
The building was constructed in 1969 (Designer: Gevorg Kochar) in the style of brutalism / Soviet architectural modernism. The complex in Sevan consists of a hotel building and a canteen, which rises over the slope. The hotel is still in operation today.
Brutalism is a modernist architectural style. The term comes from the French "béton brut" and is often confused with the term "brutal".
In fact, many buildings look a bit "brutal". The clarity of the forms, the sculptural appearance and the visibility of the concrete are characteristic. Brutalism likes to mix with other architectural styles and can be found all over the world.
