APA Building Melbourne
The APA Building was Australia’s first skyscraper*, built in 1890 it was allegedly the 3rd tallest office building at the time. In the mid 1950’s it had all of it’s design features removed, then in 1980, despite being a registered heritage building, it was demolished. Now a 5 storey modernist office block sits in its place.
*according to the definition of the time

I’m pretty happy with this one, the high tri count is from the pretty high detail I was going for. I reckon this is one of the biggest architectural losses in Australia. I hope you enjoy!
