Description:

The year is 1951, six years have passed since the end of the greatest struggle your country has even gone through. What better way to celebrate than to build such a marvelous building in the southern capital of your vast country?

Accurate replica of the eponymous building located in current day Tashkent, Uzbekistan ( Google maps [www.google.com]) ( Yandex street view [yandex.ru])

==================================

*The building can be painted any color you like using the Repaint 1.7.3 mod

It is not meant to be a "typical" soviet house or be part of a series of other typical projects (at least to my knowledge), but rather a unique residential building which is meant to showcase the peculiarities and diversity of architecture of this period. Its beauty cannot be fully translated into Cities:Skylines without impacting performance too much, however I have tried my best at doing so.

The building functions as a high density residential level 4 home. It has in game space for 30 people (unsure how many in real life). It also has space on the first floor for commercial, you can subscribe to my Shop building for this mod, use block services instead or not put any shops there at all. The shop has space for 7 workers and is only 8 triangles so it will not be as heavy as this building on your performance.

Of course, in order to use this building properly please subscribe to the Ploppable RICO Revisited mod, otherwise it will just be a unique building with no functionality.
It is 7 cells wide and 6 cells long.

==================================

Presumably built between 1950-1956, it is completed in the neoclassical style of the Stalin era. The building has elements of national Uzbek architecture, as was common with every Soviet republic of the time. Architects would take regional symbols of their culture and combine them with basic ideas of classical architecture. On this building these symbols can be observed in the cotton-flower-like pattern of the balconies, as well as the tall pillars and fancy modillions which imitate their wooden counterparts in Uzbek architecture. The building is very wide, likely as a counter-seismic measure.

It is located where Tamerlane Avenue (Amir Temur Shox Ko’chasi) crosses Nukus Street, Tamerlane being the 14th
Century emperor of the Timurid empire who was born within the borders of modern day Uzbekistan. This street used to carry the names of Movarounnakher Street and Proletarskaya Street.
