Description:
Brutalism-Church

UPDATES: 16.07.2023:
Replaced incorrect texture on the pillar in the steeple.

The brutalism-style church is characterized by clarity and raw concrete. The green roof looks like a leaf from afar. Glass windows protect the cross from the weather. The plans for this church have been around for 10 years. It was part of a term paper for an architecture degree, which I never started.

Brutalism is a modernist architectural style. The term comes from the French "béton brut" and is often confused with the term "brutal".

In fact, many buildings look a bit "brutal". The clarity of the forms, the sculptural appearance and the visibility of the concrete are characteristic. In Germany, after the Second World War, many churches were built in the style of brutalism.
