Old Scarborough Municipal Office
This building was constructed in 1956 to be the municipal offices for the Borough of Scarborough and would be expanded in 1961 with a four story addition to the rear. It would serve as the municipal offices for the Borough until 1973 when the new Scarborough Civic Centre opened, after which the building would be sold and would continue on as private office space until some time in the 90’s when it was torn down. Today nothing remains of the old municipal office and its former site is now a parking lot.
