This map is set in the northern region of the great plains in the US, specifically around the unincorporated community of Reed Point in Montana, situated along the Yellowstone river.

The Yellowstone River in Montana, was once home to the Crow and Sioux tribes. The Crow relied on the river for buffalo hunting and trade, while the Sioux utilized its resources for similar purposes. These tribes established a profound connection with the land, shaping their cultural traditions and leaving a lasting impact on the region.
