Holden was the primary Frontline Police Vehicle provider to the New Zealand Police until its dissolution by GM in 2021. The Holden Equinox was the final SUV used by the NZ Police created by Holden. The Equinox was fielded as a standard duties vehicle, as well as highway patrol and dog unit vehicles
