Thurmont is a town in Frederick County, Maryland, United States. The population was 6,935 at the 2020 census. The town is located in the northern part of Frederick County, approximately ten miles from the Pennsylvania border, along U.S. Highway 15.
Emmitsburg is a town in Frederick County, Maryland, United States, 0.3 miles south of the Mason-Dixon line separating Maryland from Pennsylvania. Founded in 1785, Emmitsburg is the home of Mount St. Mary’s University.
The highest row of tiles in the 81 tiles mod marks the MD/PA border. Portions of Carroll Valley and Blue Ridge Summit, PA are in the map.
