Health Center (Tóth Ilona Health Service Specialist Clinic)
History
This building was built in 1948 as Csepel’s Specialist Clinic. It was the biggest non-hospital building in the 21st district of Budapest at that time. In addition to hospital-level specialist care, it also employs a number of GPs, specialists (such as dentists, orthopedics, ophthalmologists), and operate a pharmacy too. The building was renewed in 2011 and it was renamed to Tóth Ilona Health Service Specialist Clinic. Tóth Ilona was a doctor who died a martyr’s death in 1957.
