Water Tower – Rimburg
This water tower is a replica from the monumental water tower in the Rimburg forest in the south of the Netherlands. It stands between the villages of Rimburg and Ubach over Worms (Waubach) which is part of the municipality of Landgraaf.
The tower was built between 1925 and 1926 by the water company and the mining company. It was in use until 1991. After that it fell into decay for two decades, the tower has been restored and is currently used as a lookout tower and restaurant. For this asset, I wanted to restore the tower to its original state, as I know it from growing up in the area.
Functions as the basic water tower without pollution.
