Etobicoke Olympium
The Etobicoke Olympium is a recreation centre located in Toronto Ontario, Canada. The building opened in 1976 in the then City of Etobicoke and is home to one of only a few Olympic sized swimming pools in the city. The building hosts both domestic and international swim competitions, various recreation courses for local residence, and is a training centre for swimmers both hobbyist and professional. In preparation for the 2015 Pan-Am Games the facility was renovated as it would be the training centre for the various aquatics based sports at the competition. The facility itself features multiple recreation facilities including 2 swimming pools, a large gymnasium, an indoor running track, and a fitness centre.
