Cinematic Cims – Safari Cims Prop Pack
Cinematic Cims are an ongoing collection of HD cim animations and props to be our hero characters in cinematic shots, to help us tell stories and to have more interesting cims inhabit the worlds we create in Cities: Skylines
I want people to look better in-game, the buildings on the workshop are so detailed and awesome, but find some existing cim props and vanilla citizens are quite low poly, so sometimes they lack the realism i want. This collection is designed to help improve the quality of characters with a variety of animations and props for storytelling purposes and cinematics.
2 Static Prop versions of each of the 3 Safari themed characters – one sitting and one standing version of a mom, dad and boy character.
- These assets should be used in moderation. Treat them more like a building than a prop, use however you want but i’d advise using sparingly, like don’t go placing thousands of them. They are meant to be ‘hero’ characters, not background filler. A 100 or so on a map shouldn’t really have any effect on FPS, obviously individual circumstances vary. If you got a good PC you’ll be fine.
- Alternatively, they can just be brought in just for cinematic shots and then removed once done if worried about any performance drop.
IMPORTANT – These models have a high tri count, 10k tris (approx.) for static prop versions.
Includes:
- 6 custom character ‘static’ props
- Props are technically non-functional unique buildings.

This collection will be an ongoing series with new sets of animated cims and prop versions regularly added.
Textures shared between all versions so loading screen mod will only load one texture file.
Tris: between 10-12k tris per animated model (Unity animations are smaller file sizes)
Textures: 1024×1024
Tris: Between 150-250 tris each model.
Textures: 128×128
Q: How do I find the assets?
A: Props are non-functional unique buildings so would be found in the unique buildings section. However, use Find It mod for ease – search CC Stat (for props), Sully, Few Candy or Cinematic Cims and you’ll see assets.
