Amsterdam 1698
This Amsterdam house is based on a drawing made in Amsterdam in 1941 by a 13-year-old girl.
The year 1941 was a tumultuous time for Amsterdam, as it was for much of Europe. The city, like many others, was grappling with the harsh realities of World War II. Amidst the chaos and uncertainty, a 13-year-old girl found solace in her art. Her drawing of a house, filled with intricate details and a sense of hope, became a beacon of light in a dark period.
