Transperth A-series Electric Multiple Unit – 2 Car Set
The A-series EMU is a suburban rail train built by a consortium of Walkers/ADTranz/ABB in the early 90s for Transperth, the transportation authority overseeing the widespread electrification of the city of Perth’s regional rail network. Today, you can relive the modernisation of Perth’s railways with this fine multiple unit, recreated for use in Cities: Skylines.
This is a train asset. It will not work on metro tracks, tram tracks, or roads (or i don’t think so, at least). Each car can carry 100 passengers, for a total of 200.

This is my first time making an asset, so please excuse the absurdly high triangle counts and texture resolutions for a not-particularly-good-looking model. If you have any suggestions for improvement, I would be more than happy to hear. I’ll more than likely return and update it soon, especially if I have the chance to upload it for CS:II.
- The LOD models aren’t quite lined up with the normal models
- No additive shader (to illuminate the LED signs at night)
- The textures look a bit crap
- 4 car set coming soon (im tired boss)
- Speed, suspension, and passenger count might have to be adjusted a little
