Emergency housing Vanadislunden
Made for my Sthlm1925 project where I recreate the capital of Sweden as it looked like in 1925.
The population of Stockholm almost doubled during the period 1880 to 1900 due to industrialization. This created a housing crisis. To alleviate this problem, large numbers of simple wooden houses were built, many during and after WW1, around 1917 – 1924.
Most of them were demolished between 1930 and 1960 and very few of them remain today. These in the park Vanadislunden are, as far as I know, the only ones in central Stockholm.
This is a pack with three buildings.
Tris main 1200 – 2100, lods 142 – 256
