Description:
WARM WELCOME TO MUDLAND
Island of Humble Hands, Proud Hearts, and Deep Roots

Mudland is part of Brookford County which includes Codland , Moya , New Mansfield, Woodfield and Hanford. On the south, Mudland borders Melissa County .

I created this map to give players the tools to build something grounded, meaningful,
and real. This is not a playground for megacities or skyscrapers. It’s a canvas for
designing a complete, functioning society – a small city of around thirty thousand
people, a supporting town of around five thousand people, and a network of villages
with real purpose – fishing ports, agricultural hubs, and logistics outports.
I wanted every part of this island to make sense. To feel lived-in. To tell a story.

This map was build for players who care about function, not just form. Who want
their cities to evolve from the land – not fight against it. Mudland is meant for those
who respect terrain rather than erase it. Its hills, ridges and bays are not obstacles –
they are opportunities. Every decision here must respect the island’s shape,
and limitations. You are not here to flatten mountains, but to build with them.
Let the land lead your planning.

This island belongs to its people – resilient, hardworking citizens
who take pride in their towns and villages. They love their island. They work in
agriculture, fish the surrounding seas, and operate a small, well – organized industrial
zone that uses the island’s natural resources – to produce everything
a self – sustaining society needs.

The goal? Not sprawl. Not spectacle. But a peaceful, prosperous society of around
forty thousand people – where every road has a reason, every village has a role, and
every part of the city feels earned. Mudland invites you to build something beautiful
not through scale, but through purpose.

Mudland is for those who don’t just want to build a city. It’s for those
who want to design a nation.
If you are ready to design with intention, and let the land shape
the story – this map was made for you.

TERRAIN AND WATER

The Island terrain is a mix of predominantly rocky hills and limited
flat areas. The sea level is 195 metres.

Tiles ME1 TL1 and MS3 TL5 are
at the sea level and have flat ground, making them good spots for ports.

Tiles ME3 TL2 , ME2 TL6 , MS1 TL7 , MS2 TL4 , and MS3 TL5 have both
flat and hilly parts, but tile ME2 TL6 is the flattest overall, with an average
height of 250 metres above the sea level. Tiles MN1 TL8 and MN2 TL9
are mostly hilly with very few flat areas.

The Island’s highest peak reaches 468 metres and is located west
of tile MN3 TL3 .

In the recommended tiles, flat and hilly land are evenly distributed.

Every tile except ME2 TL6 has access to the sea. Tile ME1 TL1 has
the most extensive sea access, followed by tiles MS3 TL5 and MN1 TL8 .
The rest of the tiles have more limited access to the sea.

The sea is the only water source. There are no rivers or lakes.

OUTSIDE CONNECTIONS

The main highway network consists of Two- lane main roads.
These are connected via two- way feeder roads that link to the
starting tile ME1 TL1 to facilitate traffic flow.

2/4 Incoming road connections used
2/4 Outgoing road connections used
2/4 Train connections used
4/4 Ship connections used
4/4 Plane connections used

Notes: The map has two interchanges created by Soruvisu ‘Roundabout Service Interchange’

NATURAL RESOURCES AND GROUND RESOURCES

The map contains a variety of natural resources,
which differ from tile to tile. The most common resource is forest with more than 145 thousand trees, found in all recommended tiles. Ore and fertile land are also fairly common.

Fertile land is located in tiles MN3 TL3, ME1 TL1,
ME2 TL6
, and ME3 TL2 .

Ore is found in tiles MS1 TL7, MS2 TL4 , and
MS3 TL5 .

Oil is only found in tile MS3 TL5 , and it’s located under the sea.

Wind strength on the island is generally calm, with stronger winds
only in tiles
MS3 TL5, MS2 TL4, ME3 TL2, and ME1 TL1,
and parts of the rest of the map.

As for fish resources Shellfish thrive best in these waters.
Anchovy is the second most common.
There are some small pockets of Tuna near the edges
and some Salmon in limited parts of the map.
