Kangaroo Valley

Disclaimer: I have not had the time to thoroughly test this map properly, so please feel free to give feedback if you decide to give it a try, so that I may update it when I return home from holidays 🙂
Description: Kangaroo Valley is one of 7 fully enclosed valleys in the world seated between Sydney, the South Coast, and the Southern Highlands. It is an idyllic location, with a small town and limited infrastructure, and funny enough, don’t rely on the ‘Kangaroo’ part of the name, if you ever visit here there’s close to nothing related to kangaroos. Which frankly speaking, doesn’t make this place less beautiful. Thanks to having an annual average rainfall of 1269mm this place is very green and fertile that features rain forests, and lush green fields.
The valley was originally focused on cedar logging in its early history but as more land was cleared and more people moved into the valley, it switched to more an agricultural focus. Now potato farming and large-scale dairy operations dominate the landscape. The environment as you could probably tell from the screenshots are wet and filled with both typical Australian in the highlands and wet rainforests within the valley. Many creeks flow into the kangaroo river supplying the adjacent fields with irrigation and fertility. The windy roads and limited infrastructure will make it hard to deal with when building a large city.
Features: It’s a 1:2 scale copy of the real valley, the roads, trails, and waterways still follow close to the real thing. Being an enclosed valley there are no outside water connections obviously, but there are 5 creeks that all flow into kangaroo river. This map also may not be the map for an older computer as I admittedly got carried away with placing trees. As of the current version, there are about 1030000 trees making logging somewhat of a good idea ingame.
