Description:
1964 Flxible Flxiliner

(Re-uploaded)
Released in 1964, the Flxible Flxiliner was 35ft (10m) intercity coach based on the Flxible Hi-level, being one of the first American models that moved away from stepped roofs designs, extending the roof forward, the windshield up and offering more space for over head cargo. Equipped with BF Goodrich’s Torsilastic suspension, this coaches where known for having a smooth ride experience, powered with a Detroit Diesel 6-71 series engine matched to a Spicer 5 speed transmission and factory independent a/c.

Depending in their configuration, the coches where equipped with 39 to 45 reclining seats with optional w/c.

By 1969 declining interest by operators, due to the lack of a 40ft (12m) model, The Flexible Co. Took the decision to sell its factory tooling to Dina (Diesel Nacional), since they already had an agreement to build lincensed copies of the Vista Liner and Hi-level models.
