The Berkeley
The Americana Collection’s original Dutch Colonial Revival house returns!
A level 3 low density residence in the aforementioned subset of Colonial Revival architecture. This house is derived from Standard Homes Co.’s 1925 "The Berkeley" plan. It’s also a example of the increase in my 3d modeling capabilities since the previous version.
As I don’t much else to write, here’s a fun fact!: Prior to the 20th century, "Dutch" referred to anything relating to the people of Germany and the Netherlands, especially in a folksy sense, with "High Dutch" and "Low Dutch" being a way of distinguishing the two (Here’s the Oxford English Dictionary for reference[doi.org]). This often leads, in the present moment, to the Netherlanders being solely attributed to cultural influences in early America that they actually shared with German settlers from the Rhineland and Palatinate regions. But in regards to this style of architecture, it’s colonial progenitors were most common in areas that were once colonized by the Low Dutch.
This contains but one asset. It has color variations, but it’s mostly white.

As with my other house assets, this has 2048×1024 textures, a custom LOD, and uses a submesh for the terrain-conforming fence.
I highly recommend subscribing to all the dependencies!

As usual, please do inform me of any errors that may be related to this asset.
Also, in the spirit of modding, anyone is free to re-lot or retexture this asset without permission. All I really ask is that a link is provided back to the original here, and that any repurposing isn’t used for the expression of hateful ideologies.
If you appreciate an asset enough to want to toss pocket change my way, you may do so over at Ko-Fi![ko-fi.com]
