Modular sewage treatment facility
I wanted a sewage treatment facility that didn’t pollute the water and could be placed inland and could be expanded as the city grows. None of the assets on the workshop really did what I wanted, so I set out to create a flexible set of buildings to fit my needs.
This facility is modelled after Mariagerfjord Rensningsanlæg in Denmark (it had a lot of photos from different angles :P), though it isn’t 100% true to the real thing. The aeration basin is modelled after several reference pictures as Mariagerfjord Rensningsanlæg doesn’t have one.
The facility produces alot of garbage (sludge) and noise pollution (smell) to mimic the downsides it would have. I have tried to balance it against the base game ones, but also keep it effective enough to actually use it without it needing to be ridiculously large.
