Description:

Location: Pripyat, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union (modern-day Ukraine)
Years of Operation: Unit 3 (1981–2000), Unit 4 (1983–1986)

Iconic Units 3 and 4 of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant as they appeared before the tragic disaster of 1986. These RBMK-1000 reactors were part of the second construction stage of the plant, featuring the famous tall ventilation stack (VT-2).
