Italian Garden Celle (Buildings Pack)
Inspired by Otto Haesler Buildings in Celle (Germany)
The "Italian Garden" residential complex was built between 1924 and 1926 in the "Neues Bauen" style, a precursor to the Bauhaus movement. Originally, the property contained an Italian garden. The complex was designed by architect Otto Haesler and was long considered a colorful residential complex. The Italian Garden residential complex creates a stark contrast to the half-timbered buildings. The city of Celle is known for its half-timbered old town.
The Italian Garden residential complex consists of three building types: one small building and two larger buildings. The larger buildings are very similar but differ in the arrangement of windows and balconies.
The buildings are not 100% replicas. They are inspired.
