Not a narrow hotel this time:)

Populus, designed by Studio Gang and completed in Denver in 2024. The 13-story building houses 265 guest rooms and anchors an urban corner site with sculptural presence. Its façade features vertical scallops and elliptical window apertures inspired by the “eyes” left on Colorado’s native Aspen (Populus tremuloides). Sustainable strategies are integral: the concrete mix uses fly ash to reduce carbon emissions, and finishes incorporate recycled materials. By offsetting more carbon than it emits, Populus aims to leave a positive environmental impact, all while activating Denver’s urban life.

Populus 酒店由 Studio Gang 设计，于 2024 年在丹佛落成，该建筑高 13 层，设有 265 间客房，坐落于转角地块，外观极具雕塑感。立面采用垂直波浪状纹理与椭圆窗洞，灵感源自科罗拉多州原生杨树（Populus tremuloides）树干上的“眼状”痕迹。建筑在结构中引入粉煤灰混凝土以减少碳排放，室内装饰融入回收材质。通过碳汇抵消，该酒店力求实现净正碳排放，并为丹佛城市注入活力。
