1910’s Vintage Tram

Model of a tram in teak from 1914-1917. It ran on Lidingö, an island in the inner Stockholm archipelago, and from 1925 continued all the way to Humlegårdsgatan in central Stockholm. It was taken out of traffic in the mid 1950’s.
The tram is considered to be an "especially important wagon that represents crucial stages of development", and one has been preserved by the non-profit association Svenska Spårvägssällskapet. This is their page on this tram.[www.sparvagssallskapet.se]
