Weathered Decals — Early Beta

Weathered Decals adds worn road details around intersections, making streets feel less sterile and more lived-in.

The mod procedurally spawns selected road decals (patches, cracks, holes) near road junctions.

What’s included (v0.1.0-beta)

• automatic decal spawning near intersections
• weighted prop selection (rarer “Road Hole”, more common “Road Patch”)
• active prop cap for stability and performance
• basic cleanup of invalid spawned instances

!!!Important!!!

This is an early beta.
Visual issues, scaling differences, and spawn-balance changes may occur depending on your map and asset setup.

Known issues

• some props may appear too large/small on certain roads
• spawn density may still need tuning
• asset naming differences can affect prop detection
• possible conflicts with mods that also modify/spawn road props

How to report bugs

Please include:

• map/theme used
• active mods affecting roads/props
• what happened (step-by-step if possible)
• Player.log excerpt after error/crash (if available)

This helps a lot and speeds up fixes.

• density and spawn-distance settings
• stricter filtering for road decals only

• different profiles by zone/road type
• improved spawn rules based on traffic/junction layout
