HÉV MXA 3-Car
The HÉV is an interurban rail network radiating out from the Hungarian capital city Budapest. It combines characteristics of a metro, a lightrail and heavy rail system, and is all in all quite hard to put into one category. The quite minimalist looking MXA type and its close relative MX type forms the mainstay on the network, with over 100 units. They were manufactured by LEW Henningsdorf in East Germany in the 1970’s and 80’s
