Improved Public Transport 3

Improved Public Transport 3 (IPT3) is the continuation of the classic IPT and IPT2 mods, updated for Race Day patch and fully compatible with More Vehicles Renewed. It gives you granular control over every aspect of public transportation — vehicle counts, vehicle types, stop behavior, boarding, ticket prices, unbunching, and more — across all transport modes.
IPT3 also encompasses a suite of formerly standalone transport-related mods that have been integrated directly, eliminating the need to manage them separately.
The public transport line info panel is extended with a new IPT control section:
Vehicle Count — Manually add and remove vehicles on any line.
Budget Control Mode — Toggle between *Manual* (you control vehicle count directly) and *Budget* (vehicle count is governed by the line’s budget slider, same as vanilla). Switching to Budget mode clears the spawn queue and applies the budget to existing lines immediately.
Unbunching per Line — Enable or disable vehicle unbunching on individual lines independently of the global setting.
Vehicle Queue — See how many vehicles are queued to spawn and clear them if needed.
Depot Selector — Choose which depot serves a line from a drop-down; IPT automatically finds available depots for each transport type.
Line Length — The total route length is displayed in the line panel.
Spawn Timer — Shows the current vehicle spawn countdown for the line.
Hex Color Input — Enter an exact hex color code for a line color in the color picker.
Select Vehicle Types — Opens the vehicle type selector for the line; multiple assets selectable.
Control exactly which vehicle assets are allowed to run on each transit line, multiple skins allowed.
Modify passenger capacity, maintenance cost, and max speed of any public transport vehicle type directly in-game.
– Updated for Intercity Buses
Clicking a stop node opens the IPT Stop Info Panel, which extends the vanilla stop window.
Fine-tune how aggressively the game tries to space out vehicles on a line.
Bulk-delete all lines of a given transport type from the Options panel.
Adjust ticket prices independently for each transport type from 0-250%. Integrated directly into the Economy Panel with its own tab alongside Budget, Taxes, Loans, and Investments. Current passengers using each service type listed next to each slider.

Features that require DLC content are gated so the mod will function (without said features) if you do not own it. For example, Mileage Taxi Services requires After Dark and Intercity Bus Control requires Sunset Harbor; their code will be disabled without them. Ticket Price sliders will not show transport types for which you do not own the respective DLC.

Over 80+ hours went into production and testing. Cheers.
Several users out of ten thousand subs have reported a money glitch where budget is showing massive expenses (-42 billion). It’s not happening with my list of tested mods but I’ll keep adding more common ones to test. If you notice it, please provide your log in the Discussion here and I’ll continue trying to track down the source of the bug/conflict.
IPT buttons cover the ticket price slider on Line Info Panel for Sightseeing buses; existing UI issue for IPT, will address in the future.
