Description:

Taxi Stand Fix makes taxi stands in Cities: Skylines 1 feel useful again.

In vanilla gameplay, taxi stands often look like they should work as waiting hubs, but taxis do not reliably use them that way. This mod improves that behavior by allowing available taxis to move to taxi stands, wait there, and serve taxi requests from the stand when possible.

What it does

– lets idle taxis wait at taxi stands
– makes taxi stands act more like real taxi ranks
– allows waiting taxis to serve taxi requests from the stand
– helps taxi stands feel more alive and useful in busy city areas
– keeps the fix small, focused, and lightweight

Important

Taxi stands do not create extra taxis.

You still need enough taxi depots and enough available taxis in your city. If all taxis are already busy carrying passengers, no taxi will be available to wait at a stand.

For best results

– place taxi stands in areas with real taxi demand
– make sure your city has enough taxi depots
– keep some spare taxi capacity available
– use taxi stands near stations, airports, tourist areas, commercial centers, or busy public transport hubs

Requirements

– Harmony / CitiesHarmony is required

Compatibility

This mod is focused only on taxi stand behavior.

It should be compatible with most mods that do not change taxis or taxi dispatch. It may overlap with mods that overhaul taxi AI, taxi stands, transfer matching, or taxi dispatch behavior.

Why this mod exists

Taxi stands are a nice idea in Cities: Skylines, but in normal gameplay they can feel underused or almost decorative. Taxi Stand Fix is a small practical fix for that specific problem.

No big settings menu. No full transport overhaul. Just better taxi stand behavior.
