Description:

It’s back! Stop Stacker has had a complete code refresh for version 2.1.1.nnStop Stacker helps busy bus stops behave more like real shared stops. Instead of every route visually collapsing into the same vanilla stop point, supported stops get clear berth markers, smarter passenger waiting positions, and live status bubbles that explain what is happening at the stop.nnWhat it does:nn- Adds visible `B1`, `B2`, `B3`, and further berth markers along supported bus stop lanes.n- Gives each served route a visible berth row in the status bubble.n- Shows route stop order, such as `4/8`, so repeat visits by the same route can be told apart.n- Shows waiting passenger counts per visible service and keeps those counts refreshing every few seconds.n- Lets multiple buses load and unload at the same time when they are stopped fully inside the usable bus stop pit or service zone.n- Preserves external bus unbunching/spacing mods by standing down from Stop Stacker’s dwell-release nudge when another mod controls bus departure.n- Handles bus stops with physical stop pits and in-lane bus stops where the road has a bus lane but no physical pit.n- Passengers gather by the berth for their service, while the original stop point gets a departure board because that is where people naturally check where to wait.n- Lets players choose Modern, Futuristic, Old world, or None for bus stop sign visuals and dispatch boards.n- Lets players disable Stop Stacker berth/status/prop visuals for individual stops, with an Options toggle to choose whether those disabled stops keep multi-bus loading active or switch Stop Stacker service off completely.n- Names status bubbles after an explicitly custom-named nearby building when one is available, and otherwise uses `Bus Stop`.n- Hides covered berth labels and status bubbles behind normal UI panels instead of drawing over them.nnThe status bubbles replace the old floating inspector idea. They are designed to make the detail visible in-game: lines served, total waiting passengers, berth, line name, route stop number, and waiting count are all shown directly on the stop.nnSupport and bug reportsnnThis is a fresh public release after a complete rebuild. It should now work alongside most popular transport mods, but if something looks odd, please report it rather than assuming it is your city.nnFor new bug reports, please use the public support tracker:/nhttps://github.com/GitHubbier182/scratchys-cities-skylines-mod-support/issues/new?template=bug_report.yml/n/nPlease include the city context, the other transport mods involved, and any `[StopStacker]` lines from `Player.log` / `output_log.txt` if you can.nnPublic source filesnnClean public source mirror:/nhttps://github.com/GitHubbier182/cities-skylines-stop-stacker/n/nLatest updatennFor version-specific changes, open this item’s Steam Workshop Change Notes. This description stays focused on current features, compatibility, requirements, and known limits.nn## Requirementsnn- Harmony 2.2.2-0 (Mod Dependency), Steam Workshop item `2040656402`.nn## CompatibilitynnStop Stacker is rebuilt around bounded runtime scans and live display state rather than saved berth caches. That should make it less fragile when routes, stops, or roads change.nnObserved good compatibility:nn- Improved Public Transport 3.n- Improved Public Transport Essentials.n- Express Bus Services with basic settings.n- Advanced Stop Selection Revisited 2.3 with basic settings.n- Bus Lane Priority, Auto Public Transit Planner, Pedestrian Crossing Toolkit, and Utility Roads are not required.nnTransport mods that rewrite stop positions, passenger waiting positions, bus dispatch, route ownership, or public transport line state can still affect what Stop Stacker sees. If berth labels, passengers, buses, or status bubbles look wrong, please submit a bug report with the mod list and logs.nnIf another mod deliberately holds buses for unbunching or service spacing, Stop Stacker should now leave that departure decision alone when it detects the other mod’s bus-departure patch.nnWhen Stop Stacker manually services a controlled stop, it keeps detected Improved Public Transport Essentials and Improved Public Transport 3-style vehicle-panel last-stop boarding and alighting counts in sync with the passengers that actually exchanged.nn## Current featuresnn- Full-city stop scan on load.n- Rescan after bus line, stop, or road-network changes settle.n- No saved berth cache or persistence layer.n- Berth labels for supported bus stop lanes.n- Player-selectable managed bus stop sign visuals beside berth markers.n- Player-selectable freestanding departure-board prop at the vanilla stop point.n- Per-stop disable/re-enable control in the status bubble, with a compact `Stop Stacker Disabled` bubble while a stop is disabled.n- Options > Mods checkbox for deciding whether disabled stops keep multi-bus loading or fully switch off Stop Stacker service.n- Options > Mods reset button for clearing all disabled stops in the current save.n- Status bubbles that prefer explicit nearby custom building names and otherwise use `Bus Stop`.n- Status bubble rows with berth, line, route stop number, and waiting count.n- Local hide/stand-down for status bubbles and berth labels covered by normal UI panels.n- Regular lightweight status-bubble waiting-count refreshes.n- Passenger wait-position assignment by route/berth.n- Multi-bus loading and unloading inside the usable service zone.n- External bus unbunching/spacing protection for mods that patch bus departure control.n- Long-bus exception when the bus is longer than the service zone.n- Support for physical bus stop pits and in-lane bus stops with no generated pit.n- Shared-stop visual merging.n- Unified ScratchyBald launcher toolbar button.n- Diagnostic logging with the `[StopStacker]` prefix.nn## Known limitsnn- Version 2.1.1 is the current update to the rebuilt Stop Stacker baseline.n- Stop Stacker does not move live vanilla stop nodes.n- The mod is focused on bus stops. Other public transport modes are not stacked in this release.n- Berth labels and props are runtime visuals, not permanent assets saved into the city.n- Very unusual custom roads or transport managers may need bug reports before they can be handled cleanly.n- If another mod deliberately takes over stop placement or passenger waiting behavior, Stop Stacker may need compatibility tuning.
