Once upon a time in Wuppertal, the autobahn arrived, smashing down 65 buildings, leaving 2 000 people homeless and dividing villages. All in the name of progress and science, so no harm done, really! Nah, I’m just being sarcastic here. Road egineers should always be aware of the consequences of our ever increasing needs for better transport routes, and there’s always someone who has to pay with their land and home. But we’re not here to gab on and on about the past, we’re here to look at a truly beautiful interchange, and the Sonnborner Interchange delivers! What are you waiting for? Get out there and squish your citizens beneath a thick layer of asphalt… That sounded far more sinister than I expected…
