Old Botanical Garden
This Botanical garden is loosely based on part of the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory of the New York Botanical Garden. I simplified it and removed two of the smaller wings. I started working with a model from 3D Warehouse, but spent hours simplifyig and manually remodelling it. However, I tried to keep the Victorian style (1800’s) looks of the greenhouses.
Level 2 unique building, Friendly Neighbourhood Park template (unlocked after building 10 000 squares of residential zone). Other stats: please see pictures above.
Model: 2967 tris, textures 1024×1024 d, n, s (created by me, entrance based on photos of the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory – other parts of textures are very much simplified/completely fictional, because UV unwrapping and mapping this was a nightmare anyway…)

The garden is purely based on my imagination. The garden is quite small, so I recommend building parks around this for the best and most realistic looks.
