Built in the Moderne / Art Deco style in 1935 on Elizabeth Street, Melbourne Australia, the Beehive building has for many decades been a creative hub and office space, and has now been converted for your cims into a dedicated feline affairs office with the addition of a rooftop cat cafe next door.
Famous for it’s iconic 1950’s cat sign, originally an ad for Mazda Light Globes, it can be seen prominently in the classic end of the world film 1959 ‘On the Beach’ starring Ava Gardner and Gregory Peck
Adds local happiness and an urban counterpart to the dog parks already availalbe to Cities Skylines
